Hello! I'm Janice. Here is a more detailed account of me and my life. If you are reading this blog, you probably know me well enough that you probably don't need to read this. But...I'm going to go ahead and do it anyways.
So, I originally decided to put up this blog to share with two friends about the happenings of my life one summer. Since then, I have come to realize that this is more of a way for me to remember what goes on in my life. I also find it helpful to record my thoughts, ideas as well as things I like or am interested in. I have pretty bad memory so blogging is a good way to remember the things in my life. I travel quite a bit so I decided to keep my friends updated about my daily travels through pictures and writing. I'm not a very good writer so I sometimes question why I even decided to write a blog and share it with others. If you happen to spot any grammatical errors, please do excuse me. Editing is going to eat me alive really soon, I swear. But hey, at least this is a good way to practice. I think you have heard enough about why I decided to start a blog so I'll move on...
Here are some things about me in list form:
- I love floral patterns especially vintage or garden florals. I wear floral clothing like its uniform. I love floral patterned scrapbook paper.
- I like to look at photography. I wish I could take all the ones that I like and paste it all over my walls ( I don't know why I haven't tried that)
- I wish I was good with graphics and digital art so I can play with photos and make nice things to hang on my wall and make my own wallpapers.
- I love to watch TV. Actually, I love to watch soap operas (dramas?), chick flicks, and trashy TV shows.
- I left home at the age of 14 to a boarding school on the east coast. My parents shipped me off because they didn't love me anymore. just kidding. I didn't like the idea at first but I have recently come to realize that it was one of the best decisions that I have made in my life and one of the best experiences in my life.
- Now, I recently graduated from Cal. Though it was quite the journey of ups and downs, it wouldn't trade it for anything else.
- I'm starting a new chapter of my life in the Big Apple. Check back to see how that goes.
- I love to explore the world. I have been very fortunate to be able to do a lot of traveling.
- I like to impulse shop though I have learned to control myself recently.
- Snacks will be the death of me.
- I'm a big time New England Patriots fan. I freakishly know a lot about them. I live vicariously through them. The main reason why I have a TV in my apartment is so I can watch the games (well and also TLC).
- I'm also a Gators fan though I don't even go to school there.
- That being said, I also have a big interest in watching sports. My favorite sports to watch is football. I have recently started to take an interest in baseball.
- My life is actually quite boring for the most part. I'm seriously, I really mean it.
- My parents also live half way across the world and I miss them dearly.
- I like to collect quotes. Every once in a while I would take out my notebook and read through them.
- I love going to Joanns and looking at all the pretty fabrics. I have also tried crafting, scrapbooking and jewelry making.
- I like to sleep to the sound of the TV. Don't ask me why because I don't know why.
