so i guess i haven't gotten a chance to really update of my life the past couple of weeks. this 6-week summer session has really gotten me running around. well not really...i have just been really busy here in there.where i'll be spending my july 4th weekend!
so lets see...the past month I :- finished 2 summer classes.
- moved into my new studio closer to campus. those 20 minute walks to class was not doing it for me.
- gone to every single class that i'm supposed. major accomplishment! this is the first since i came to college.
- been doing pretty well in both of my classes.
- got my first A- on an english paper. YAY. in the history of my academic career, i've never gotten such a good grade for a literary paper.
- been able to run at least 1 mile without stopping.
- been able to live with two of my closests friends in college.
- finished paper drafts ahead of time so it gives me time to edit. (see how i get excited about whole writing thing recently?)
- been able to cook a meal that does not involve just eggs, frozen foods and ramen.
- limited my soda intake. (yes, i used to drink soda at least once a day)
so, it all... I have been pretty accomplished this month! i'm quite proud of this list of accomplishments. I have been so successful in forever!
well there are clearly other things to work on as well. in the next couple months i plan to:
- enjoy my break as much as possible and really relax.
- spend some good quality time with my mom when i get home.
- continue exercising once in a while.
- continue my healthy habits to life.
- appreciate what has been given to me. (yes, i know)
- limit shopping and really learn how to save money.
- be happy :) (don't hold grudges so much).
- oh, and perhaps play nice with my roommate, xuemin. lol
since i just went to my last class just now, it means SUMMER IS OFFICIALLY ABOUT TO START!! ( i say about to because i still have 2 final papers to turn in over the next to days. but i'm getting excited!)
but, as much as i'm excited for summer to actually begin, i'm going to have to say goodbye to two of my closests friends before I head home in 2 weeks. i won't be seeing them for at least 5 months when they are off studying abroad!
what better way to get my summer rockin' than spending some quality time with two of my best friends outside in New Hampshire? i'm SOO looking forward to this weekend! i try to update as much as possible.
