Another One Comes to An End
I'm not really a baseball fan. Only a fan of Boston sports but...
This is indeed a sad day for all red sox fans.
Not a great week to be a Boston sports fan. Hoping the Pats can pick it up this weekend in the bay area.

Pan Am
I think everyone should watch this show because I think its made pretty nicely. Its set in the 1960s and it really bring you into life at the time. Though its a story about the glamorous life of the steward at the time, there are also a lot of history revealed about the time-The Cold War. The costumes are really glamorous and classy. And, the pilot is quite the cutie. Lots of nice stylistic but also historical things to watch. Not only is there romance, there is also something mysterious about it. Anyone who likes the spy/CIA type stuff would probably like this.I'm usually not a fan of period pieces/media but I'm starting to like this once.
Heres another picture of the show which I really like:
Lets Try This Again
So after being angry and upset for almost the entire day (up until I decided to go see Moneyball with my friends), I think I'm ready to at least share my thoughts on the loss on the Patriots today.
Yes, it certainly was an embarrassing loss but all we can do is to look back, know what went wrong and keep moving because if we don't, we are going to end up in the same exact spot as this morning.

Like Pats Prop but up this picture. I think it certainly tells all. Keep our heads up and win the next one. There are many more games to win and this is just a hiccup on the way to victory. There were many mistakes that were made today and need to be corrected in order for us to win as the season comes along. The Bills deserved the win after all the terrible and also embarrassing mistakes the Pats made. But I am optimistic, this is our year and no one can stop us!
Ok, lets talk about some good stuff along the way:
The Pats were on a roll for the first half. We were in a lead for 21-0 quite some time. I guess we didn't have enough momentum to keep it up.
People who came to work today:

Rob Gronkowski, Wes Welker with 2 TDs each and some pretty good plays by Danny Woodhead. Sergio Brown with 2 picks/interceptions in the first quarter (unfortunately his pick in the 4th quarter was ruled off because of a penalty) But, Welker really stepped up today knowing that Hernandez was ruled out of the game because of an injury.
As much as I love Tom Brady, today was possibly the worst day ever for him. From record breaking streak of no interceptions last season to four in one game is just extremely disappointing. Another player I'm pretty disappointed about is Ochocino. He has had lots of hype coming into New England since the start of training camp but I really think hes overrated at this point. Some people say that hes just getting adjusted but its almost been 7 weeks since he started to play and he hasn't doing much. He doesn't seem to have found the connection with Brady like Brady and Welker, or with Branch or even Moss as a matter of fact. I'm starting to wonder if he even fits in with the Pats or simply not as good as everyone says he is. Oh, I'm also missing the McCourty interceptions from last season. Hopefully we'll see some of that to come really soon.
Being a Pats fan for quite some time now, we know that they are coming back stronger next week (or this week). So watch Raiders, the Pats are coming to dominate the bay!
Yes, I know I'm pretty excited and am considering going to the game. I mean how often does the Pats come to the bay?!

And it all comes crashing down.
31-34. first lost handed to us.
I have no words.
Brady threw 4 interceptions. a career high for him.
I don't know what to do anymore. Getting to me real bad. I don't even want to talk about the good stuff in the first half anymore.
give me some time to calm down and perhaps I'll write about it eventually.

Indian Hill
So, I heard this from 90210 and I got hooked. I usually don't really like alternative and folk type songs but this is a really nice song. I think this song is not officially released but here is what I could find so far.

Weird Day
So, the one thing that I promised myself not to happen today actually happened. I told myself if I had to be late english today and the next thing I knew it was 9:41 and my alarm didn't ring. My paper which I slaved away for almost 2 weeks was due that same exact moment and I was still in bed. Thank god, the professor was not too upset (hopefully) afterwards.
I got many compliments about my bag today which is weird because I never got compliments on that bag before.
Oh, I forgot to mention. I was blazing hot today and I could feel my skin melting. It was 82 degree today. And its going to stay like this for at least the next 2 days. I thought fall is coming but I guess not just yet.
And here are a couple of instagrams. I'm telling you, I'm having a blast with it and I didn't discover it sooner:

A Beautiful Weekend
Things I did this weekend:
{got these awesome maps from paper source. couldn't walk out the store with them. Stanford's ancient map of the world and New York's house number and transit guide map.}
{went to ikea right away and framed up the maps. now hanging on the walls. make the humble abode so much better}
{sunday football. witnessing the big man's first interception. impressive run by a 330 lbs man pick a ball and make a hell of a run}
now off to not procrastinate. Also, I cannot stop watching replays of the Pats game.
until next time,

The Lightning Didn't Strike Today.
Lets not forget about the running backs. A 2 point conversion made by Danny Woodhead. Also, an impressive touchdown for BenJarvis Green Ellis.
As for the receivers, they were also really strong. A great night for Deion Branch. Good receptions from Welker. And, a catch of Ocho. I guess thats a good thing for Ocho who still needs to step it up more.
Unfortunately, lots of man down during the game. Not only on the Chargers side but also on the Patriots as well, especially on defense. Hernandez, Patrick Chung, Mesko and Haynesworth were all injured during the game. Hopefully, they will all be back soon!
Thank you, Chargers for turning the ball over to us. All interceptions and fumbles were turned into points!
Heres a highlight:
A great afternoon for some intense Sunday football.
2-0. We're coming for you, Bills!
ps. If y'all are wondering why I literally update in full detail about the happenings on Patriots' games, it is because I love watching football and also I am updating a sistah about the happenings.
