AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. I can't really describe how excited I feel right now. I really have no words. We're one step closer to the greatest victory that we've all been waiting for.
The missed field goal in the last seconds of the game remains a miracle. It continues to leave me speechless. Even Coach Belichick had to take a while to comprehend what happened. It just happened. Miracle. Amazing.
To be honest, this was not the best game ever. Somehow everything came together at the end and giving the pats another trip to the superbowl. I have been waiting for this moment for 4 years now.
The Good
Sterling Moore. Broke up the TD pass that would have sent the Pats home in the last seconds of the game.
Brandon Spikes. That interception was good (only to have Brady throw it away in the next play).
Papa Wilfork. The pressure coming from him was just great and playing strong even with an injury.
The defense line and the linebackers did a solid job and held on to help the pats win.
The Bad
*I hate to say it but its Tom Brady. Even Joe Flacco played better than him tonight. He didn't throw well at all. He threw away a scoring opportunity and the opportunity to seal the deal. The good thing is he admitted he sucked so it back to the practice field to hone up his skills for the biggest game yet.
*The secondary. Clearly Flacco completed most of his passes because he knew that the secondary was weak. Too bad Kyle Arrington was taken out of the game with an injury.
*Gronk getting injured. Who knew Bernard Pollard was capable of injuring the Pats top players? He must be Boston's hated nfl player. First he took Brady down for the whole season in 08 and now Gronk? Thank god Gronk is healthy enough to recover soon. Damn.
*Danny Woodhead. I don't really like hating on Woody because I actually really like him on the team and I think he has done a considerable amount of solid job for the team. But, the kick return fumble is one of the biggest mistakes yet. Though he managed to redeem himself in the next return, that was one big mistake that can't happen again. Hopefully this won't impact his play in the superbowl.
All in all, I'm just extremely excited that the Pats are heading to the superbowl again. I have been waiting for this moment for the longest time. This time, it is all finally coming together.
Bring it, Giants. This rematch of the tragic end to '07 is just about to begin. And, this time...the Patriots are going ALL THE WAY.
Win for Myra. MHK.
