I'm Back

Wow, I have been quite on a hiatus. Well, not really. A little mean bug came to visit and we didn't like each other very much. Finally, it decided to leave me alone after 2 weeks.

I would like to point out that the past two years, I have gotten into some mishaps during the playoffs. Last year when the pats lost to the Jets in the playoffs, I tripped on the sidewalk, ripped my jeans and scrapped my knee. This year, I got a sore throat on the day off. And, was sick for 2 weeks after that. Do you see a trend here? Knock on wood for next year.

Things that I have used over the course of last 2 weeks:

I actually don't know how teacups is all that relevant.

I also discovered Nyquil. Yes, I never had cough syrup before that. I have to say it works and it doesn't taste half as bad. Ok, it sounds kind of odd I'm actually talking about cough syrup like this but really I started to believe in it. I mean, when you go to sleep, it really helps you sleep. But, you wake the next morning and it all starts over again.

Theraflu. I think that stuff actually really helps. It think that helped to get me better. Just drink it like tea.

Hall's cough drops. It really soothes the throat. It actually doesn't taste bad at all. Its like eating candy but it helps to get better.

Chicken Noodle Soup. Can't really go wrong when you're just hungry and can't really eat anything else.

Pho. It really helps to have a couple of soup and some noodles. It actually taste good.

Tea. Always helps with honey. Hot liquids to keep body fluids running so that the nose and ears feel like a stuck hose.

Tissues. I went through 2 boxes of tissues and 3 rolls of toilet paper. Kleenex is better for the nose than scotties. Try it yourself.

Cream and lip balm. Just put that stuff all over the nose area or you'll look like Rudolph and feel like you skin is crumbling over.

Hot Showers and Baths. I have not wanted to take as many showers as I did over the last weeks. All that hot steam that sucks all that snot right up.

Sleep. Don't do anything but rest. It actually helps you feel better.

Before some people wants to say something about some of the stuff I just said, I'm not addicted. Achem. I'm glad this old friend of mine has left.
Stay healthy in 2012!
