Dynamic Duo.
Sorry, for the delay. I have been pretty bad at posting lately.
31-24. Taking it and moving on.
A bit of a surprise without Peyton Manning but a win is a win. What seems to be a blow out in the beginning ended in somewhat of a odd manner as the Colts got themselves into the end zone in the 4th quarter. This just shows that they need to keep working on holding people off and finishing games. Probably not overlooking their opponents either.
A bit of a surprise when they released Taylor Price on Saturday. Too bad he couldn't make it long but he and Brady must not have found the connection. In my opinion, I would take him any day over Ocho. Seriously? The issue with Ocho continues to really bother me.
GRONK SPIKE
A lot of this blog post is going to be about Gronk. If you couldn't tell already...
Dave Orlovsky's looking a tad bit uncomfortable.
But here we go again...
The Good
*Gronk. I think he needs no further explanation if you're a pats fan. The tight end with most receiving yards and touchdowns ever in football history. He found himself in the end zone 3 (freaking) times in the game and he was on fire. And, what tops off the TD? A giant, monster spike by Gronk.
*Welker continues to have a bit of receiving yards. Lots of yardage in this game.
*Arrington continues his interception streak
.
*Carter, Wilkfork and Ninkovich making some crucial sacks
*Slater in the secondary?
*Good catches by Hernandez.
*Nick McDonald for doing a solid job at center. Only got put to the active roster on Saturday.
The Bad
*The forth quarter. Somehow the game started to fall for the Pats in the 4th quarter with barely any scoring and allowing for TDs after holding the Colts off for a long period of time. I have yet to see what happens but I suppose I'll elaborate as soon as I watch it.
*Ocho needs to make more catches. Hes going to be on the bad list until he makes some seriously big plays like a TD.
*The running games seems to be a bit slow lately even with 4 rotating running backs in the game frequently.
*Defense seems a bit vulnerable and needs to continue to improve, especially in the 4th quarter.
--This is a bit difficult without watching the entire game and only watching the highlights from the NFL site since they only really show the good stuff when the team wins.
I shall elaborate more as soon as possible.
Get well, Peyton.
Also, did you catch the Peyton Manning calling the Pats fans "pretty classy"? Hell Yeah!Anyways, off to take the Redskins down next weekend. Staying strong and hopefully crusing into the playoffs. The game they play after the Redskins really worry me. You can never be too sure when you're trying to hold off Tebow and his gang. As much as I like Tebow, I love the Pats more so hopefully, "In Bill We Trust" will bring us all to victory.
Before I leave, credit to the Giants for sticking with the Packers and fighting till the end. Today is the one day that siding with the Giants was acceptable in my case.
Anyways,
"Do Your Job"
