Road trip through the Colca Canyon

Drove through the Colca Canyon. The 2nd biggest canyon in the world (in front of the Grand Canyon!). Much of it was nature and wildlife scenery. Which got me quite excited. Got to do what I wanted to do. I got to see an alpaca and carried one so now I can go home now (kidding). And, this hotel is unreal. Too bad we're only here for one night though.
I think picture speaks a thousand words so I'll stick to pictures today.

1. Thats my mom and I at the start of our trip through the Colca Canyon. With a little mountain girl and her baby sheep. There are so many colors to photograph in Peru. It gets me excited to use my camera.
2. Made a stop for some tri-tea. Its a herbal tea with 3 different leaves in it and its good for Altitude mountain syndrome, digestion and something else I forgot.
3.Llamas and Alpacas crossing! 2 of2 4 main camels in Peru found at the Colca Canyon.
4. My father and I at Condor's cross where you can look down into the Canyon. Its over 4000m deep!
5. I can die happy now. I picked up an alpaca! It didn't like me very much. The lady didn't like me too much either. lol How sad.
6. Condor. Like an eagle. Lucky to see so many at the canyon yesterday!
7. Group picture at the canyon!
8. At Las Casitas del Colca. Outside on the private patio and hot tub (all to myself!). unreal.
9. Inside the Casitas. Wow, even the bathroom is great!

The journey continues tomorrow.
